TEAM FUNDRAISING POLICY(1) Objective:
To ensure team fundraising is done in a fair and consistent manner throughout the PSA Calgary East Ringette program.
(2) Guidelines:
(a) Team fundraising will not be used for core program expenses ( such as program registration fees, ice expenses - practice, regular league and playoff games associated with Ringette Calgary league play). Core program expenses are the responsibility of the individual player.
(b) Team fundraising is intended to cover non-core program / additional expenses such as tournament expenses ( entry, travel, meals and accommodations ), team clothing, team functions, etc.
(c) Team fundraising dollars are to be used or disbursed by the team in the season in which the monies were collected.
(d) All fundraising activities must be completed by January 31st of the then current season. Extensions beyond this deadline must be approved by the Calgary East Ringette Committee.
(3) Budget
By October 31st, teams will decide if they will be undertaking team fundraising activities for the upcoming season. Once this is determined, a team fundraising budget will be drafted and signed off by the Head Coach and Manager. The budget will outline how those team fundraising dollars will be raised, projected dollar amount to be raised, what the team fundraising will be used for and how these dollars will be disbursed. The budget must be presented and signed off by the majority of the teams parents, prior to being forwarded to the Calgary East Ringette Committee.
Team parents' and Committee approval are required prior to commencing fundraising activities. |
